Description
The Money Pot you Can’t Open will Make you Smile
This Terramundi money pot is a fun money saving pot. This pot will make you smile, as it is also the money pot you can’t open. It is bright, fun and full of colour to spruce up any room crying out for colour. It follows an Etruscan design that has been going for over 2000 years. The British Museum holds similar examples in its collection. The tradition is that the money savings pot is fed with coins and notes until it is as full as possible. Then, once full to the brim, the spotted Terramundi money pot must then be smashed or broken to release the savings. Most importantly, once the pot has been smashed or carefully broken (so that it can be repurposed), it is claimed that the good fortune inside the pot will be brought to its owner.
Handmade with Love and Care
This is an original handmade, hand-painted terracotta Terramundi money pot. Each money saving pot is handmade with love and care, ensuring every detail is perfect. Terramundi have been keeping the Umbrian family tradition alive by making these beautiful and practical gifts in the UK for over 20 years. They are hand thrown in the exact same way as they were made over 2000 years ago!
It’s the Money Pot you can’t Open – Smash it or Crack it?
Once the Terramundi money pot is squashed full to the brim with as much money as can possibly fit in it (How much money does a Terramundi money pot hold?), you will find there is no easy access to the savings. The choice is whether to totally smash it, or to carefully crack the top off? Whichever access route is chosen, be sure to enjoy the proceeds of your hard earned savings!
